Did you see a familiar face in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade? Our very own Jessaniel, a student at Sabino High School, performed in the Macy's Great American Band! Here's what he said about his experience:

"I performed a solo of three percussion excerpts for my audition, as well as submitted a personal resume. I applied on the date it opened up for applications in January, and I was accepted in April. Once I got there, there were a ton of rehearsals and practicing. In our breaks, I was able to tour and sightsee in New York City. On parade day, we woke up at 12:30 in the morning to rehearse at 2 a.m. at Herald Square. Then we went straight to the parade. I was proud to represent Sabino High School and the state of Arizona on a national stage in the Macy's Great American Marching Band."
