Completing a FAFSA application is a critical step in getting Financial Aid. To assist seniors applying for financial aid, the Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education has several resources to utilize.

Description: Eleven scholarships to recognize students for academic achievements and community involvement. GPA min. of 3.5.

Amount: Ten (10) $5,000 scholarships; one (1) $7,000 scholarship
Description: H.S. Seniors who are AZ residents and will enroll in UofA full time and have earned an un-weighted min. GPA of 3.0 and a family income of $42,400 or less.

Amount: All unmet financial need after grants and work/study and some loans are also awarded.
 
Description: Arizona H.S. Seniors with a min. 3.0 and plan to attend an AZ College.

Description: For graduating students planning on attending Pima Community College and who meet admission requirements as well as financial need, academic ability and community involvement.

Description: For students planning on attending PCC and have been accepted at Pima CC. Must have min. 2.5 GPA and be eligible for in-state tuition.

Description: Students with a background in Arizona agriculture or with someone in the student’s immediate family whose majority of income stems from agriculture. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of full time undergraduate study for students who maintain a college GPA of 2.7 or above.

Description: TUSD seniors who demonstrate aptitude and interest in science or math and intend to pursue studies related to automotive technology, transportation, alternative energy/fuels or related engineering fields at an accredited Arizona college or trade school.

Description: ACSF is committed to providing the state's largest pool of private scholarship dollars for high potential/ low income students. This $10,000/year scholarship is for high School seniors who will be a first generation to attend college (neither parent holds a four-year degree from any country). Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, combined SAT score of 1040 OR a 22 on the ACT. Demonstrate financial need. Be accepted by one of Arizona’s 3 public universities. Description: Students must be between ages of 6 and 18. Must be nominated by someone age 21 years or older. Nominations should describe how the Student has contributed to the community in a meaningful way by performing volunteer services that helped non-family members.

Description: A new automatic merit scholarship program at CSU-Pueble will eliminate the waiting game for high school seniors. No additional application is required. The scholarships are renewable for up to 3 additional years if the student maintains the required minimum renewal gpa.
